Digital Controls and Operations Manager - AI Solutions & Erica

Job Description:

The Bank of America AI Solutions & Erica team is seeking a skilled Controls and Operations Manager responsible for processes and controls.  Focus includes, ensuring quality assurance and program standard adherence through the identification, measurement, monitoring, and mitigation plan development regarding business processes. This teammate will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, technology, analytics, legal, risk, compliance, operations and model governance to ensure processes are appropriately documented, risks are assessed, and metrics are developed and monitored to ensure program compliance and that appropriate visibility is provided to senior executives regarding overall health as well as potential issues and problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement key processes and align day-to-day risk culture for AI Platforms and Erica 
  • Liaise with Business controls on all facets of SPI, Risk and Governance 
  • Manage all feature governance: LRC toll-gating, MAP, UCRA and model governance [MRM] workstreams 
  • Serve as point for PAC, audit, exam, regulatory inquiries, issues management and remediation 
  • Identify and escalate potential issues to the Business Controls team for evaluation 
  • Partner on Action Plan creation and drive of audit issue remediation 
  • Identify, prioritize, execute process changes/enhancements 
  • Perform ongoing, routing controls monitoring

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Business Control, Compliance and/or Risk experience 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to succinctly convey information to executive leaders and stakeholders

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate and work across enterprise, build partnerships across Digital, LOB and Risk teams 
  • Have exceptional presentation and communication skills and thrive at delivering clear and concise messages that resonate with all audiences 
  • Intellectual curiosity and detail-focused 
  • Risk and Audit mindset in the oversight of team processes and functions 
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in financial services working in a Control function 
  • 5+ years digital capabilities experience; for example AI, online, mobile and/or advisory tools 
  • Knowledge of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management rules and regulations 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet competing requirements 
  • Prior experience working on audit and/or regulatory issues 
  • Prior experience conducting risk assessments 
  • Prior experience working with regulators 
  • Prior experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Audit, or Regulatory Relations 
  • Knowledge of the Compliance & Operational Risk program, including the Single Process Inventory [SPI] and the ORCIT/POP tool
