We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Design Consultant to join our Change Management, Process Design and Operational Excellence organization part of GB & GM AML Operations.
The Process Design Consultant reports into the Global Banking & Global Markets AML Operations organization, partnering with business function leaders, operations process owners and subject matter experts (SMEs), to provide an end to-end view of their processes, analyze impacts and data, and contribute to the optimization of the organization through continuous improvement and process reengineering. The candidate will also actively contribute to the Operational Excellence cultural shift providing proactive alignment to tactical and strategic projects and programs aligned to the AML Program while ensuring understanding and consideration of the overall multiyear strategy and roadmap across the space.
The candidate will engage with operations partners on a regular basis, managing the continuous design or redesign of processes models across the AML/KYC program and supporting enterprise priorities as it relates to initiatives rolled out to support the program. They will also be accountable to keep process models current and develop a program to capture updates as they occur along with implementing a yearly attestation process to ensure current documentation and appropriately link to our Single Process Inventory. The ideal candidate will have a passion for process transformation and re-engineering and will develop close working relationships with the operations, strategy, and technology teams along with process owners and PMO, building trust and confidence at all levels.

Responsibilities
Process analysis, process modelling and process governance for the AML Program
Maintain process maps for both documenting and analyzing current/target state business processes
Provide end-to-end view of processes within business functions with proper identification of hand-offs and process connectors
Support the program's short-and-long term strategy
Provides expertise for the proactive identification of opportunities from a process efficiency perspective
Prepare presentations and process overview utilizing models and complementary data to assist leaders in process re-engineering activities
Provides direction for strategic alignment of AML processes with our Risk and Controls framework that adheres to our Global Financial Crimes (GFC) policy and procedures.
Required Skills
3 or more years of Process Design experience
Understanding of modelling standards and Visio process mapping tool.
Ability to identify opportunities from a process efficiency perspective
Expertise in process engineering and optimization
Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of delivering results
Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders at various levels
Ability to navigate end to end processes and synthesize data that will create transparency on specific solutions and areas of improvement
Experience in analyzing data, operational models, and process maps
Strong presentation development skills including the ability to distil many data points and processes into concise summaries with detailed illustrations and examples
Able to work across a wide variety of teams and interacting with subject matter experts and executives
Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
A continuous learner with a commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change
Excellent verbal and communications skills
Self-starter who can take ambiguous information and drive to logical outcomes while constantly challenging the status quo
Critical thinking skills – ability to assess quantitative and qualitative data to identify key themes that require deeper analysis and assessment
Desired Skills
Prior experience with AML/KYC processes desirable
Preferred process improvement and Operational Excellence exposure
Preferred ARIS modelling experience and application of the BPMN 2.0 standard is desired
