Risk Analysis Manager

Charlotte, North Carolina;

Job Description:

Manages teams that are responsible for performing data management, complex analysis and modeling that maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures. Their team would provide data and analytical support on various product strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of databases, and performance reports for senior management. Manages the review and analysis of trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. Directs the development of more complex databases, program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Oversees the data design, analysis of portfolio trends, concerning credit score cutoffs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Integrates the analysis team with other corporate units to ensure alignment of analysis with business strategies and objectives. Responsible for hiring and training Risk Analysis Specialist and Risk Analysis Analyst.

Requires relevant degree and experience programming, developing and maintaining large, complex databases and data sets and using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data.

Responsible for performing data management and complex analysis that maximizes process efficiency, minimizes cost, manages operational risk. Provide data and analytical support on various valuation strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of databases, and performance reports for senior management. Manages the review and analysis of trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. Directs the development of more complex databases, program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Oversees the data design, analysis of order trends, valuation milestones, and operational performance including 3rd and 4th party vendors. Integrates with other corporate units to ensure alignment of analysis with business strategies and objectives. Requires relevant degree and experience programming, developing and maintaining large, complex databases and data sets and using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data. Experience in Tableau, SQL Server and other reporting and analysis tools. 

Required and desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant coursework required
  • Graduate Degree or related advanced certification or coursework is preferred
  • 3+ years relevant experience in data management, metric development, reporting & analysis
  • Experience in commercial or consumer real estate data/valuations and/or business data/valuations preferred
