Business Strategy & Initiative Manager - C&SB Home Lending Products

New York, New York;

Job Description:

The Home Lending Products Team is responsible for delivering a full range of mortgage and home equity products and services to help our clients meet their financial goals. The team is accountable for the development and management of all mortgage and home equity lending products, including conducting market research and competitor analyses, developing short- and long-term strategies and outlooks, and designing and tailoring products and services to meet our clients' needs.

This role is for a versatile and motivated change agent who has a business development mindset combined with a demonstrated ability to execute across a complex organization and adaptability to shifting priorities in a changing business environment.

Business Strategy & Initiative Manager - C&SB Home Lending Products Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Help to develop and execute strategies to support the growth objectives of the business segment.
  • Establish opportunities to positively impact the product P&L and deploy initiatives that improve the appeal and competitiveness of the solution(s).
  • Assist in identifying client-centric business opportunities and building compelling business cases & strategic narratives. Work efforts will be guided by objective and informed due diligence, which may include the evaluation of client feedback, associate input, and competitor and market trends. The collection and analysis of external and internal data will serve to inform the associates' actionable and impactful efforts.
  • This role will require strong partnership development skills, fostering positive and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders groups including Digital, Sales, Marketing, Fulfillment, and Servicing, as well as Second Line Units including Legal, Risk and Compliance.
  • Role will have accountability over the client experience, including satisfaction levels, complaint themes and understanding partner resolutions for issues, risks and escalations.
  • Ensure processes and tools are working as designed, looking for improvement opportunities that improve client or associate experience

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of financial, business development / sales or strategic consulting experience
  • Adaptable business professional with strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills; ability to create executive ready content
  • Experience working on complex initiatives (deploying across multiple channels, impacting multiple audiences), including development of compelling cases for change/business justifications and execution
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills with clear, concise communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence teammates and partners,
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work to meet deadlines/milestones
