Role Description:

The Markets Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) Data Delivery program is responsible for the definition and implementation of consistent and efficient regulatory reporting processes that adhere to enterprise standards, simplify controls and enable re-use.

Description Summary

Regulatory requirements for banks have increased dramatically over the past few years. Global Banking and Markets Technology (GBAMT) is looking for an experienced analyst to support the Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) program

Role

We are looking for a Business Analysis who will work in close partnership with the program teams to complete the business requirements and review to ensure implemented accurately in the team deliverables.

Responsibilities

• General duties and responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to, the following:

• Work with a great degree of independence with the Reference, Data Quality Control, and our Technology and Operations partners to acquire a deep understanding of the reporting issues and processes

• Concisely document requirements as is appropriate to the scope of the effort / development methodology (FRS, JIRAs, agile stories)

• Leverage business and functional knowledge of regulatory reporting and to solve problems through proposals developed in close partnership with the teams

• Develop report requirements such as filtering or aggregation logic per the report law, rules and regulations.

• Identify and document data attribute gaps from one system to another

• Reconcile populations between various systems and perform root cause analysis

• Extract reports and queries from applications

• Perform ad-hoc SQL queries and analyses in Excel

• Facilitate workshops with operations and technology managers

• Support data domain compliance / adherence to Enterprise Data Management (EDM) standards

The Team:

Teams are located in AMRS, APAC & EMEA. This role enriches the Business Analysis capability EMEA (Dublin) to join with the Reg Reporting BA/PM team located there. The teams work closely with their stakeholders to align the local regulatory submission pipeline to the strategic blueprint. As each member is a specialist in their field and we deliver the end-to-end solution as a cross functional team, there are on the job opportunities to expand your skillset as well as additional learning supported from GTOU online courses.

Core Skills:

• Knowledge of the regulatory report generation process

•Number of years business analysis experience

•    Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Science, Finance, or related.

• Experience performing detailed and complex data analysis

• Experience managing tight deadlines, and competing demands in a fast paced environment

• Analytics skills (e.g. SQL querying and MS Excel analysis)

• Exposure to tools/applications like JIRA, iSeries Navigator, iSeries/AS400 concepts

• Experience working with Business, Risk, Change management and/or Operations team

• Demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders, including technology / development teams, management, and other clients

• Ability to facilitate workshops with application managers and technology teams

• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task when required

• Ability to work independently and communicate status and challenges

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

Preferred

• Experience with databases

• Knowledge of Global Banking and Markets’ products/asset classes and associated data including fixed income, equities, derivatives, and foreign exchange securities, preferred
