Job Description:

This role supports audit teams through focused projects that deploy effective storage strategies, leverage complex enterprise data sources by applying cutting edge technologies to maximize our data driven value proposition. 
Responsibilities include supporting adherence to enterprise data quality standards, as well as, identification of capture, transport, and data use issues.  The Cnslt - Apps Prog associate will perform impact assessments and data analysis, lead data remediation efforts, support prioritization and reporting of data quality issues, and engage with business and technical stakeholders.  The scope of work includes defining how data is managed and sourced across multiple upstream lines of business and within the Corporate Audit data infrastructure.  The primary requirement is to create sophisticated, value-added analytics and solutions that support risk management, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and audit research.  
Required skills:
-    Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight
-    Takes initiative and demonstrates focused desire to drive improvements vs. relying on “status quo”
-    Expert in data analytics, mining, manipulation, aggregation, integration, and reporting
-    Relational database management systems architecture
-    Data modeling and tuning experience
-    SQL Programming, stored procedures, functions, objects etc.
-    Organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts in a fast-paced, regulatory driven environment
-    Degree in business, computer science or related discipline
-    Knowledge of data management (data quality, metadata management, governance, etc.) and BI/data management tools and applications
-    Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired skills:
-    Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem on tools like HIVE/Impala/Spark 
-    Tableau/SSRS or other current reporting tool 
-    Agile team member 
-    Knowledge of bank financial practices and policies
