Your background

Required Skills:

• Minimum 7 years or more working experience as software engineer .
• Good knowledge of Java or .NET
• Prior experience of relational databases
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other engineering degree
• Conversational Japanese

Desired Skills:

• Financial Services/Banking experience
• Operating Knowledge of Linux and server side components
• Scripting language knowledge like Perl or Python

What you can expect

As part of the Finance Technology organization in Japan, our team is responsible for the development and support of applications for the Chief Finance Officer department. The candidate will be responsible for the development, test, and release of Finance applications in Japan. The candidate will be part of the team to build & maintain the front to back modules used in the eco systems. You will partner and collaborate with team members located in other APAC countries. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has good engineering skills and interests to pursue in the Financial application world.

What you will do

• Development of Finance applications – front to back
• Design and execute Unit test, System integration test and User acceptance test
• Manage the CI/CD pipeline, including setup and configuration
• Setup and maintain lower environments for testing
• Design new modules and re-engineer existing components
• Create technical documentation
