Structured Credit Executive

Job Description:

Custom lending product executive is responsible for representing and managing OTC derivatives, international lending and private equity subscription finance products.  The custom lending product executive will be a member of the GWIM Credit product specialty team.  The custom lending product executive will act as the product’s subject matter expert and is responsible optimizing product capabilities by actively managing product capabilities and product distribution to achieve responsible growth.  The custom lending product executive will work with clients, advisors and custom lending credit executives in Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Private Bank to deliver tailored OTC derivatives, international lending and private equity subscription finance credit solutions.  Key metrics of success include increased product sales and revenue within the Bank’s risk framework.      

The custom lending product executive is the credit product owner for OTC derivatives, international lending and private equity subscription finance credit solutions.  Responsible for defining and enhancing product capabilities within Bank’s risk framework.  Maintains strong understanding of current market place and competitive landscape.  Provides credit direction, expertise, and approval for strategically important clients.  Actively works with Custom lending credit executives to develop and distribute product materials and best practices to responsibly grow portfolio of products.  Works with underwriting team to ensure product credit analysis and processes are well defined and efficient.  Accountable for product adoption, balances, revenue and asset quality.

Requirements:  
• Familiarity with high net worth individual cash flow, credit skills, and related market influences (profiling, structuring, underwriting, pricing, delivery)
• Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives, lending to international clients and private equity subscription finance
• 10 plus years of commercial credit or wealth management credit experience or a combination of lending and credit experience
• Prior experience required with a financial institution focusing on product/sales/risk, preferably in the high net worth space
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to influence others while building strong partnerships
• Commercial credit training strongly preferred

Connecticut pay and benefits information

Connecticut pay range:

$125,000 - $200,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
