Education Event Coordinator

Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by providing best in class, integrated products in the most intuitive, efficient and client friendly way while maintaining a forward thinking mindset and risk management focus.  RPWS is responsible for both the institutional and personal retirement capability set to include 401(k), Equity and Health Benefit plans for companies of all sizes as well as college savings, personal retirement planning, retirement income, insurance and estate planning for individuals. RPWS also provides tools and content that enables advisors and bankers to help their client’s live their best financial lives.

The Event Coordinator within the Participant Engagement Team is responsible for the planning and reporting of on-site and virtual client education events.  This role supports the delivery of comprehensive financial wellness programs to the employees of corporate and small institutional RPWS plan sponsor clients.  Financial wellness programs are offered through the workplace to provide education and access to tools and personalized guidance that can help improve the financial lives of employees at various stages of life and various income levels. 
 

Summary of Position

  • Coordination of education events including, scheduling, event coordination with client, material shipping, online registration set up, post event tracking and reporting
  • Role works closely with internal partners, financial advisors and others cross-organization, and is also expected to participate in sales and rebid situations when needed.
  • This is a client facing role where the candidate will work directly with client (plan sponsor) and client representatives
  • Consult with Communication Coordinators and Engagement Consultants on plan engagement strategies
  • Support Client Acquisition strategies

Core Knowledge Requirements:

Microsoft Office products such as Salesforce and Excel are critical to the success of this position. Experience in Project Management is valuable.
 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.
  • Client relationship experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the firm’s products and services or a willingness to learn quickly
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within Compliance deadline)
