
Job Description:
Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Familiar with development and testing practices of the bank. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); Analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors; Triages the underlying cause. Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes. Individual contributor.

Responsibilities:
The accepted candidate will be a part of an application development team providing production support services responsible for running the day to day operations of the technology platform. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsible for ensuring stability of applications in production
Develop solutions that address audit related, break-fix, production stability and optimization updates
Provides on-call support for triaging problems as part of a global team
Coordinates with various support teams across the organization, for problem research and resolution
Communicates with line of business and management the overall status and health of the application
Looks for areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining root cause
Provides monitoring of the environment during release or independent change and tracks changes to the production environment thru out the weekend for executive communications
Required Skills:
5+ years of relevant IT experience (Production Support, SDLC- Waterfall / Agile)
Technologies: C# .Net, MS SQL Server, XML, API Services, DTS/SSIS, NDM, MQ
Tools/IDEs: AutoSys, Visual Studio, Oracle SQL developer, TOAD
Databases: MS SQL Server
Exhibit a strong sense of urgency for high severity incidents. Able to assess the customer impact and provide tactical solutions
Flexible enough to work for extended hours and on weekends when needed to handle high priority issues, production recoveries, provide support to Dev & Infrastructure Releases
Desired Skills
Previous experience developing or supporting Cloud based applications and/or applications that utilize Distributed Memory Cache
Familiarity with Devops Tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, JIRA, XLR, Datical
Automate test script experience with tools like UFT, NUNIT or MOQ
Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results.
Interacts efficiently with internal contacts/teams to drive through the solution and solve problems
Strong communication skills; proactively bring forward concerns
