Distributed Ledger Client Advisory Executive

Job Description:

Lead product sales expert supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, closing complex and high dollar deals, and/or emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients across all major lines of business (i.e. GCBK, GCB, PSB). Has detailed expertise on all designated product line or detailed knowledge of industry needs and practices and GTS product sets available to meet those needs. Leads consultative discussions at multiple levels of the organization and may act as a Bank representative presenting at key industry events. Participates as the product sales or industry expert in client call planning and client calls as well as strategic client reviews, identifying opportunities and influencing solutions. Also is a key participant in Senior Deal Teams. Brings market feedback and Voice of the Client perspective to bear in product enhancement and development efforts. Drive collaboration between product, sales and client relationship teams to position leading solutions that address the challenges clients face and grow market share through client calling and deal support. May act as an individual contributor or may lead a team.

  • Will develop market-leading expertise on digital assets, block chain, and distributed ledger technologies.  Conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis to gain a full understanding of the risks and opportunities facing both companies and their sectors.

  • Will talk to clients who have detailed questions about digital assets or the space specifically focusing on the technology behind distributed databases.

  • Will participate in marketing and sales activities around distributed ledger technology in multiple markets, including material production, webinars, client calls, and presentations.

  • We are looking for an experienced leader to monitor the market for any emerging issues and trends and bring back to our product and sales teams.

  • Deeply understand user needs by spending time with customers, sales, and support and observing patterns across their feedback and the market.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years of experience working directly or indirectly with digital assets, ideally as an analyst, strategist, or specialist.

  • Understanding of block chain rails and making it easy for large and emerging businesses around the world to understand the impact to how they send and receive assets.

  • You can read financial statements from public companies and find it exciting to combine these insights with other public data sources into accurate earnings models.

  • Detail-oriented, proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and ideally also with R or Python. Experience with data visualization and can create compelling PowerPoint or Keynote presentations.

  • Great communicator in writing and conversation, and a clear thinker. Can convey complex narratives and details with clarity and coherence in a way that is not just accurate but that can be understood by a general audience.

  • Thorough understanding of DLT and blockchain and ability to field client questions regarding the technology.

  • Fascinated with DLT, excited about its potential, and aware of its risks.

  • Enthusiasm to learn new topics and be dynamic in a rapidly evolving space.
