Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) serves the core financial needs of individual clients and plan participants by providing best in class, integrated products in the most intuitive, efficient and client friendly way while maintaining a forward thinking mindset and risk management focus.  RPWS is responsible for both the institutional and personal retirement capability set to include 401(k), Equity and Health Benefit plans for companies of all sizes as well as college savings, personal retirement planning, retirement income, insurance and estate planning for individuals. RPWS also provides tools and content that enables advisors and bankers to help their client’s live their best financial lives.

The Communication Coordinator within the Participant Engagement Team is responsible for managing the initiation through delivery of participant communications and educational materials that support financial benefits (401(k), equity plans, etc.) and overall financial wellness.  The role requires interfacing with internal partners as well as working directly with the client (plan sponsor).  

Summary of Position

  • Manage communication initiatives from start to finish working directly with the Engagement Consultant, Editors, Designers, and print and digital production on a daily basis to keep projects moving. This includes: job opening, securing the creative brief, coordinating the kick off meeting, identify edits needed, establishing timelines, organizing estimates, keeping projects on track ensuring timelines are met, obtaining outstanding information, update status in project management tools, managing legal submissions, assist with file creation, and invoicing
  • Review communications to ensure they meet the creative brief and are accurate to the benefit, proof all rounds of edits, and interface with client on approvals
  • Work with Compliance, Registered Principal, and Legal to review/approve materials
  • Organize and assist with campaign or event delivery steps
  • Constantly be informed of project status/issues working with project management/traffic
  • May be asked to:
    • Attend standing communication status meetings with the client, maintain the communication project log, and support the report out of activities.
    • Support campaign metrics with marketing platform reporting (e.g. emails sent, opened, click through rates)
    • Support strategy development needs of the Engagement Consultant
    • Participate in annual and quarterly service reviews

Core Knowledge Requirements

Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce and Excel are critical to the success of this position. Experience in Project Management is valuable.
 

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

• Superior organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail

• Critical thinking and negotiation skills

• Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.

• Must be able to work in a team environment including clients, designers, engagement consultants, other project managers, and management.

• Client relationship experience a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business management strongly preferred or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of direct mail and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as well as content management systems and other marketing platforms is a plus.

Colorado pay and benefits information

Colorado pay range:

$56,600 - $84,900 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
