Role Description:

We are looking for a talented senior developer to join the DublinDevLab. You will be responsible for designing and building cutting edge solutions to help solve complex business problems within one of the most interesting parts of one of the world’s largest banks. The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer, who is adaptable and enthusiastic about learning new technologies and business domains.

The Team:

The DublinDevLab team is a new team, working on global initiatives across Risk and Finance Technology. The team leverages a wide range of technologies, working on some of the most important projects in the bank. We work in an agile fashion and are always striving to improve our processes, putting a big emphasis on researching new technologies. The DublinDevLab has an R&D function which is responsible for assessing emerging technologies and their uses in banking.

Core Skills:

Required

  • Experience working on large enterprise-level projects
  • Proven programming ability in one or more industry standard languages (Python, Java, C#, etc.)
  • OO programming & design patterns
  • Relational database/SQL experience
  • Experience building RESTful web APIs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience
