Job Title:  Credit Risk Manager

Role Description:

The selected candidate will work directly with the UK lead for Enterprise Credit Risk (“ECR”) and support the ECR Organisation in all regulatory deliverables, legal entity governance, data reporting and ad hoc strategic initiatives related to Credit Risk.

Responsibilities will include, inter alia,

(a) partner with relevant Risk Managers in coordinating credit risk inputs into Risk ID, Risk appetite, annual ICAAP; Pillar 3, MLI financial statements

(b) manage submissions for regulators and legal entity governance forums;

(c) participate/ lead strategic initiatives from time to time, such as regulatory applications, remediation of regulatory issues and Audit issues, operational excellence initiatives etc.  

(d) monitor legal entity risk appetite and investigate an escalate breaches in a timely fashion

The Team:

The selected candidate will join a diverse and high performing team of 10 individuals based in London, UK and will work closely with Risk Managers on the team in coordinating various deliverables and strategic initiatives. In this capacity, the candidate will present at senior governance meetings from time to time and get exposure to Risk leadership in region as well as globally.

Core Skills:

  • Experience in Risk Management or in Risk Business support function.

  • Core knowledge of credit risk assessment, regulatory requirements in EMEA and familiarity with Counterparty Credit Risk (traded products/ derivatives) and related systems

  • Confidence in dealing with multiple stakeholders at senior level, leading multi regional and multifunctional initiatives and present at governance forums  and to regulators
