Regulatory Data Process & Procedures Analyst

The Analytics & Information Strategy (AIS) team is part of the Global Banking organization. The primary focus of the AIS team is to produce simplified, high-quality Global Banking data. This team is responsible for centralizing wholesale credit data processes, including platforms, data management, data remediation, and reporting. The team partners directly with the Global Technology & Operations team and subject matter experts across Global Banking.

                 

This Regulatory Data Process & Procedures Analyst role will be a member of the Regulatory Data team within Analytics & Information Strategy. The Regulatory Data team provides subject matter expertise, manages data capture and sourcing and provides data for critical U.S. and international regulatory reporting for wholesale credit including FR Y-14Q Schedule H, AnaCredit and HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act).

                 

Responsibilities:

○ Creates/maintains documentation/process flows for data provider processes/procedures and controls

○ Maintains data supply chain lineage/mapping for 14Q CORP/CRE (Schedule H)

○ Collaborates with production teams on process design, documentation and controls evidence

○ Ensure continuing compliance with enterprise standards for process/controls documentation

○ Support comprehensive audits and data quality review

                 

This role will collaborate closely with reporting production teams, data owners, finance/risk reporting teams, technology partners and the CFO Group to design and maintain documentation for regulatory reporting data provisioning, execute initiatives to improve data quality and operational excellence, and provide subject matter expertise on regulatory data requirements.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in process design and documentation, data management

• Understanding of domestic/international regulatory reporting requirements

• Technical skills w/ MS Office (Word, PPT) and Visio

• Ability to navigate the enterprise to research and resource information across the bank

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
