
Job Description:
This role is predominately focused on: Business Support /BFO (Business Finance Officer). Merrill Wealth Management work one on one with clients to help them build a comprehensive financial strategy, providing proactive recommendations to grow and preserve wealth. Merrill finance team is part of the broader Consumer/GWIM Finance team. The primary focus of the Merrill finance team is to support the business leaders by providing all aspects of financial reporting, planning, and analytics. Our team acts as a trusted partner enabling better decisions through transparency and strategic insights.
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, financial reporting for a business unit or associate area, as well as providing key performance reporting/analytics and planning. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. This position also includes ad hoc analysis to support changing business needs. This role will partner with the business line, focusing on supporting the divisional COO's, and other support partners and will work with individuals across the Consumer/GWIM Finance organization.

BS/BA Finance / Accounting and/or relevan work experience
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Data Manipulation
Highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive
Strong verbal and written / email communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience engaging with a revenue line of business
Ability to work in a matrix structure
