Senior Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce System Administrator will play a key role in developing an intuitive and flexible CRM, and establishing best practices in support of low code, native solutions. The System Admin will participate in the CRM build and testing, will serve as the in-house Salesforce expert, and will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the platform. The administrator will interface with functional analysts and product management to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes related to the CRM.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Serve on a team of fellow system administrators for Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud org with +25K users

  • Handle basic administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields, production support, and other routine tasks

  • Have consultative conversations with teams/individuals looking to leverage Salesforce to solve larger complex business problems, providing guidance and proposals as to what Salesforce solutions would best suit their needs, and executing said solutions via agile development

  • In partnership with the Product Management team, compliment agile stories/acceptance criteria across larger epics with technical use cases to aid with needed customized development 

  • Gather detailed requests from stakeholders for improvements or changes to the system, and prioritize and implement these changes as appropriate

  • Review the system on an appropriate cadence to evaluate outdated processes, fields and design elements

  • Actively pursue additional technical knowledge of Salesforce functionalities and apply learnings to new business needs or existing processes

  • Define and enforce strategy for low code/best practice architecture across the Salesforce org 

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of proven Salesforce administration (required) and Salesforce Developer (preferred) experience

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales/Service Clouds (required) and Marketing Cloud (preferred)

  • Salesforce Admin Certification (required), advanced Certifications (preferred)

  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes and translate them into easily understandable requirements or training materials

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

  • Creative and strong analytical thinker leading system design discussions

  • SAFE Scaled Agile team implementation experience

  • Experience with brokerage or banking services a plus

  • Positive attitude with a service mentality and a sense of humor

  • A problem solver who is always trying to improve the way things are done

  • A proactive self-starter who challenges the status quo

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
