LOB: Fixed Income Sales

Corporate Title: Analyst

Location: Paris

Responsible for selling BofA Securities leading products.  Involves processing large amounts of information on economies and markets into an actionable recommendation which the client can trade. This role will offer a full immersion into the operation of a busy sales desk with client facing opportunity from an early stage and is therefore an excellent opportunity for passionate candidate dedicated to developing a career within Sales.

  • Develop client relationships to assist with day to day account coverage

  • Learn about financial products form bonds to financial derivatives

  • Compiling product presentation material

  • Marketing/communicating global ideas across floor/firm

  • Be responsible for assisting the senior sales persons in logistics, administration and client service

  • Help with client ad hoc requests

  • The role will be based in Paris

The Team

  • The role is within the Rates Sales team for Germany/Austria/Switzerland. We are selling cash bonds, rates derivatives and financing solutions to financial institutions in the region.

  • Currently the team consists of five members located in Frankfurt and Paris. The team has been able to expand broadly in the last couple of years and looking to grow further to further its current success.

Core Skills

  • Strong interest in capital markets and global economies

  • Good analytical comprehension and numerical skills

  • High intellectual curiosity and learning motivation

  • Good decision making skills

  • Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Proficient in MS office (especially in Power Point and Excel)

  • German language skills preferred
