The Emerging Growth & Regional Coverage group focuses on establishing strategic dialogue and building long-term relationships with U.S. mid-cap companies and sponsors, venture capital and emerging growth companies through localized and dedicated coverage.  We provide a wide range of advisory expertise, capitalizing on the powerful BofA global network for mergers and acquisitions, debt capital and equity capital products to deliver integrated financial solutions for our clients at virtually every stage of their company lifecycle.

Job Description

As an Analyst, you will act as a key team member on our Investment Banking team. Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models
  • Performing various financial analyses, including valuations and merger analysis
  • Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
  • Preparing presentation and other materials for clients
  • Participating in due diligence sessions
  • Communicating and interacting with deal team members across products & industries
  • Managing several projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Play a key role supporting origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on a broad scope of assignments and products
  • Team members work closely with senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage and are expected to make an immediate contribution

Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years of experience working for an Investment Bank or Private Equity firm, 1 – 3 years of experience working for a top Public Accounting, Transactions or Valuation Advisory firm or 1 – 3 years of principal investing experience on a Corporate Development team
  • BA / BS degree with outstanding academic qualifications preferred
  • Track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills, superb attention to detail and client dedication
  • Strategic and creative thinking skills; distinguished written and oral communications skills
  • Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, “team first” mentality
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities

Enterprise Job Description:

Typically assigned within the 2-3 year analyst program to Investment Banking. Perform financial and statistical analyses, conduct research, and prepare support documentation and client presentation materials. Within some businesses, may rotate through a number of product areas for more summary exposure to the business rather than concentrating on a specific product area. Generally began program in summer of 2022
