Provides credit expertise, customized coaching solutions, and mentoring to Small Business Credit associates to help improve and sustain superior quality and exceptional client satisfaction.
Partners with Small Business Leadership to influence and aid in developing actions focused on improving overall performance quality and client satisfaction.
Partners with Process Design and Credit Policy to provide feedback related to procedural and policy changes.
Analyzes manufacturing, credit, and compliance defects to identify tall bars and root causes.
Creates, maintains, and deploys coaching materials to enhance associates skill set and close knowledge gaps.
Facilitates hands on coaching and execute against action plans to drive policy adherence that enables compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Collaborates and consults with associates and leaders regarding arbitration opportunities for decisions and problem resolution on in-process loans and loan scenarios questions.
Influence change, drive performance, address policy clarification/changes, and remedy escalations.
Assists with the communication and roll out of key changes in support of credit/quality/compliance projects and initiatives.
Champions the consistent execution of credit decisions, use of judgmental underwriting, minimizes variation and identifies opportunities to increase uniformity in credit and manufacturing quality in support of customer delight
Assists with the communication, roll out, and training, if necessary, of key policy and procedural changes.
Partners with training teams to develop and facilitate refresher training/clinics as needed.
Required Skills
Small Business Credit background with knowledge of both policy and procedures
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form
Ability to influence others
Excellent presentation and coaching skills
Self-starter
Proficient with Small Business Applications and tools (GUS, CreditLens, Navigator, etc.)
Time Management skills
Exhibits teamwork and fosters collaboration among team members and business partners
