Business Overview

The Private Sales Referral Network (PSRN) sits within GCIB and is an outsourced investment banking model that provides corporate finance and M&A advisory services and solutions for private companies with transaction values of $15 million up to $250 million. The transactions are not a fit for our internal investment banking group.

Advisory services are provided through PSRN’s network of top tier boutique investment banks that possess specific industry niche expertise relevant to businesses in the target market.  The network has tremendous geographic reach across the U.S.  PSRN performs continual extensive due diligence on the network to ensure clients are receiving the best credentials and expertise. PSRN Network is typically comprised of 30 boutique investment banks.

Job Description

As an Analyst/Associate, you will act as a key team member in our Investment Banking team. Key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Pipeline Management
• Schedule, coordinate and participate on business owner calls and introductory calls to PSRN Investment Banks
• Send Consent forms
• Significant follow up on existing and prior referrals, consents sent not signed, consents signed not introduced
• Increase pull-through percentages - Consents Signed (vs. Consents Sent) and Engagements (vs. Consents Signed)
• Maintain strict controls on referral/consent process (IBK protocols, Issuing consents, NDAs)
• Presentations / Trainings
• Assist PSRN Field Director and Marketing in organizing business owner events
• Assist PSRN Field Director and PSRN VPs on internal trainings
• Attend selected events/trainings with a focus on development of presentation skills/business development
• Coordinate travel with Head of PSRN and assistant
• Maintain on-going research on PSRN investment banks - industry capabilities
• Assists COO on reporting and sales operations

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in wealth management, commercial banking or investment banking
• BS/BA degree with outstanding academic qualifications
• A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus
• Strategic and creative thinking skills; distinguished written and oral communications skills
• Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
• Dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry

Enterprise Job Description:

Typically assigned within the 2-3 year analyst program to Investment Banking. Perform financial and statistical analyses, conduct research, and prepare support documentation and client presentation materials. Within some businesses, may rotate through a number of product areas for more summary exposure to the business rather than concentrating on a specific product area. Generally began program in summer of 2022.
