Job Description:

  • Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis

  • Assist  teams of professionals across the bank, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm, and colleagues around the globe

  • Work closely with clients, lawyers and representatives from other investment banks to execute transactions

  • Perform valuation, financial and deal structuring analyses

  • Research on companies and industries and support on client initiatives including generating and developing new ideas to present

  • Formulate and develop client pitch-books and analysis in addition to supporting other bankers within the team

  • Provide support in maintaining financial models, coordinating due diligence and diligently managing related processes

The Team

  • The Investment Banking Country Coverage Turkey team is relatively small in size composed of three individuals driving Turkish coverage efforts

  • We are also actively involved in executions during projects along with product and sector teams

  • Given the relatively small team size, we provide the team member the flexibility to step up and have more responsibility

  • This provides, even at junior levels, a direct exposure to direct client interactions, a wide array of sectors and different products including M&A, equity and debt capital markets

Core skills

  • Educated to degree level (preferably in a numerical discipline such as economics, business administration or finance)

  • Candidates are expected to have up to minimum of one-year experience in the investment banking, corporate finance or M&A departments

  • Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as proficient level of MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and interact with a variety of people with excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals

  • Demonstrates integrity and ethics by earning other’s trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions

  • Demonstrates drive, innovation and a genuine interest in the financial markets

  • Fluency in English and Turkish is essential
