Platform Manager - Global Commercial Banking

This role will play a critical role in developing and implementing business strategy by managing platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment including identifying customer need, designing and validating concepts, developing business cases, managing vendor negotiations and relationships, partnering with technology to analyze and write Business Requirements documentation, managing to a budget SME in coordinating and developing communications with Marketing and Training, coordinating business and User Acceptance testers, and implementing deliverables. Maintains a thorough knowledge of CRM (Client Relationship Management) systems and sales processes for Global Banking CRM platform supported. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for CRM platform functionality and resolving platform issues identified by client teams. Serve as primary liaison with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance Risk, and external suppliers/vendors.

Position may be filled in any GCB office location in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 5 years of experience as part of a market team or in a business support role.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and capacity to independently lead and drive initiatives as well as manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both orally and in writing), with the ability to effectively interact, partner and influence GCB leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Direct involvement in (or in support of) sales activities or strong working knowledge of sales processes of a business unit.
  • Working proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of and ability to navigate the enterprise
  • Familiarity with CMP and GCB Sales Tools and Resources
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Mobility deployment standards
  • Familiarity with Global Banking data
  • Problem solving skills and creativity 
  • Strong technical expertise in SharePoint design and/or PowerPoint and/or Excel and/or graphic design
