Business Support Manager - Regulatory Relations

Job Description:

The Business Support Manager will be responsible for managing controls and associated oversight for the Bank’s on-site US regulators.  This includes Regulator onboarding; granting, approving, and maintaining systems & physical access; supporting regulator facility management needs; overseeing required controls such learning/training, and supporting other various ad-hoc requests.


Additional responsibilities include:
•    Serving as the primary point of contact for on-site regulator needs
•    Building relationships with key regulator contacts to anticipate needs and stay ahead of potential issues
•    Providing miscellaneous support as needed, such as logistics, technology, problem-solving, etc.
•    Managing & maintaining the regulator contact list for Global Regulatory Relations
•    Partnering with Global Regulatory Relations leaders and stakeholders to ensure regulator needs are fulfilled 
•    Communicating and escalating issues and emerging risks in a timely and concise manner to leadership

Requirements:

•    5+ years of experience in business operations or support, risk management, regulatory support (or related experience), or a combination of each
•    Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
•    Proven ability to build and cultivate relationships both externally and internally, with different levels within the organization
•    High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior levels across the organization
•    Ability to overcome obstacles and solve problems quickly and efficiently
•    Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency
•    Self-starter with excellent problem solving and follow-up skills
•    Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
•    Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment 
•    Knowledgeable of Bank of America’s business lines, operations, organizational structure, senior executives, etc.
