Senior Production Designer

Job Description:

Exceptional technical skills related to producing a broad range of event production deliverables. Able to work successfully with a variety of internal, external, and global stakeholders to provide resource planning and management end to end, and to drive and develop and/or enhance our standards and controls to ensure adherence to our policies. This role requires someone who can identify opportunities to improve, systems and processes and partner with the right teams to drive success. You must pride yourself on having impeccable attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage your time effectively. You must have the technical understanding to aid your performance as Production Designer. Key job responsibilities

  • Support the Bank of America Global Events team in production tasks,
  • Creation and or overseeing of room and event layouts, diagrams, and templates
  • Sign off of final audio visual technical design and configuration for the specific event
  • Assist with project intake and project assignments to operations team
  • Maintain stakeholder communication through all channels, to ensure smooth execution
  • Work within an operational excellence environment with the ability to identify and share process improvements and efficiencies across the extended team
  • Work with agencies and internal creative team to ensure source files are compatible with event AV technology, and quality is consistent with our brand reputation.
  • Partner with global event planners and internal clients to understand experiential intent and how to best implement Audio Visual technology to execute
  • Review and provide feedback for vendor execution and capabilities
  • Possess understanding of production tools and processes, keeping current with production standards and technology Implement design production solutions that improve output quality, increase efficiency and speed, and/or enhance customer experience
  • Apply broad knowledge of production skills, project workflows and file/asset management, to handle assigned projects with minimal supervision
  • Ensure all projects are completed within identified timelines and budget
  • Ensure that project outputs meet requirements for success
  • Take on limited process design work and documentation when required, in order to supplement team workload
     

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in event production or similar senior event management technical role
  • Work samples online or as images or diagrams, including at least 5 multi-component large scale projects which demonstrate a lead production role with high quality event production
  • Extensive experience of working globally with hotels, venues and audio visual vendors to host large scale corporate events
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of audio visual design and production terminology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agency, vendor or in-house corporate production experience preferred
  • A strong interest in the continual improvement of the technical side of design
  • Ability to produce independently in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflows
  • Organizational skills, adaptability and business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective client and internal relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to translate client requirements into technical design that meets business objectives
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Performs under minimal daily supervision, receiving strategic guidance from manager/supervisor about the work that needs to be completed.
  • Follows projects throughout all stages of production and final implementation
  • Manages the execution of the work, ensuring that projects are completed on time
  • Communicates effectively with peers, senior management and clients across all topics from business to production
  • Experience working within a large global financial company or large audio visual company would be highly beneficial
  • Deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks.
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented with strong problem solving skills.
  • Meets and exceeds the functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite—specifically Premiere, Media Encoder, and Photoshop is a plus
