Global Talent Consultant II

Job Description:

Global Human Resources (GHR) Global Talent helps leaders shape Bank of America culture, organizations, teams and talent. The Global Talent Consultant II is a key member of the GCIB, Global Markets, Enterprise Credit, and Global Research Global Talent Team. They will have a primary focus on all aspects of program administration for GCIB, and will partner with GCIB client managers on strategy and implementation of development programs, assisting with strategy for the overall GCIB programming as well as managing and coordinating program details. The Global Talent Consultant will also collaborate with teammates across the Global Talent organization to resolve issues, learn best practices, provide status updates, etc. 

At times, this role will provide project management support for the broader Global Talent team as well as key D&I initiatives. Some specific processes supported by this position may include employee engagement and other development and talent management initiatives. This is an individual contributor role.

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Consults, coordinates and executes core Global Talent programs, in alignment with LOB needs
  • Applies expertise in Global Talent to identify opportunities, strategies, and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals
  • Partners with the GCIB client manager to deliver all learning and programmatic needs:
    • Curate and drive a variety of GCIB initiatives flawlessly from end-to-end; measuring and ensuring success; demonstrating excellent judgment
    • Program manage project plans and coordination of logistics – e.g. registration, attendance, room reservations, materials, program evaluations to ensure expert execution
    • Consult with HR partners and the business on best practices for learning delivery, and develop and execute classroom trainings and other Global Talent programs
    • Produce executive-ready reports, presentations, and polished communications
    • Collaborate with teammates across the Global Talent Organization to resolve issues, learn best practices, provide status updates, etc.
    • Lead GCIB vendor management and support, including contracts, approvals, and expenses
    • Analyzes and manages data
    • Sends communications, monitors Global Talent mailboxes, and is accountable for responding to employee questions and requests, providing prompt follow up
    • Assists in the analysis, scoping, and assessment of business or Global Talent solutions
    • Partners with Global Talent colleagues and business partners to drive performance improvement initiatives
    • Manages risk

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience within a Global Talent or Human Resources related job function
  • 2+ years of project management, preferably in HR analytics or reporting
  • Ability to breakdown a long term project into actionable deliverables
  • Must have excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • Experience working with HR technology solutions
  • Capable of thinking about processes end-to-end and considering pitfalls, barriers, and opportunities along the way
  • Constantly looks for learning opportunities in order to develop skills and knowledge that can be leveraged to improve solutions for the business
  • Ability to recommend innovative solutions based upon analysis
  • Must possess a client-centric orientation and collaborate well with others
  • Strong relationship management skills required, including the ability to interact, communicate, and influence peers and partners
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/stakeholders
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
