Application Analyst - Merchant Technology

Jacksonville, Florida;

Job Description:

The Application Inventory Tool (AIT)  and Governance Analyst will help to coordinate delivery, help to manage risks, assist with ensuring compliance to standards, and support end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
• The AIT Analyst will be responsible for helping with multiple AITs and supporting the governance, audit etc. of those applications.
• Help with planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined Application deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams.
• Assist with ensuring execution and delivery meet the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.
• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
• Supporting planning and coordinating delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams.
• Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
• Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

• Help to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
 

Required Skills/ Background

• Solid Technology Acumen with a strong interest in learning & advancing knowledge base.

• Knowledge of Payments or Financial Services space.
• Experience with various project management tools.

• Bank of America Technology experience highly preferred.

Preferred Skills/ Background

• Experience delivering projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
• Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously.

• Previous application management/ownership background.
• Previous Information Security, Audit, Risk, and/or Compliance.
• Experience working with Qualified Security Assessors (QSA) to perform and complete audits.
• Demonstrated ability to use multiple governance systems report and record deliverables.
• Writing experience, particularly with policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Agile experience strongly desired.
• Merchant services industry experience preferred.
