Job Description:

The Global Corporate Banking (CBK) COO team works on behalf of senior management to create strategic analysis and reporting as related to: client planning and profitability, capital allocation, coverage effectiveness, competitor benchmarking, market and product penetration, and banker performance.  Additionally, the team is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives as well as supporting the corporate bankers.  The team operates globally across all regions, and partners with regional COOs and senior management on strategic initiatives.

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for leading the strategic analysis, reporting and initiatives for CBK senior management

  • Maintain organization around all projects in the CBK COO team and be the quarterback across all projects and teams to ensure completion

  • Coordinate across business manager functions, finance, wholesale credit, operations and technology, thus strong communication and organization skills are critical

  • Data is a critical element of the role, and candidate should be able to manipulate and understand data in facile, nimble fashion

Core competencies expected of candidates:

  • Ability to both work in a team and also work independently, juggle competing priorities and maintain order among the team

  • Advanced analytical competency and creative aptitude

  • Capable of preparing polished, ‘presentation-ready’ products and material that deliver analysis and content in an aesthetically pleasing and digestible format

  • Strong communication skills to present and discuss analysis with senior management

  • Ability to establish partnerships across the organization and build effective work groups, requiring strong influencing and negotiating skills

Qualification:

  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred

  • 7+ years of relevant experience required
