Attorney - Fixed Income

Job Description:

Provide legal representation and support for the Global Futures and Options business, including:

•             Legal advice to the business, the collateral management and client asset control groups, and other support partners, and coordinate with attorneys who cover futures and options in the regions

•             Regulatory advice relating to the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), National Futures Association (NFA), exchanges, and clearing houses

•             Advise the business and the documentation group on negotiating customer agreements and electronic trading agreements (ETAs), obtain netting opinions, and negotiate agreements directly with clients

•             Provide counsel to Compliance, RIG, and other support partners in connection with exchange investigations and disciplinary actions

•             Coordinate with outside counsel on regulatory, enforcement, and general corporate matters relating to the futures and listed derivatives business

•             Maintain and update CFTC Rule 1.55 disclosures on BofAS and ML Pro websites
