Your background

  • University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or software development
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills; adept at collaborating with both business and technology associates across all levels within the organization
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented you are tenacious about understanding end-to-end system flows and proactive about identifying and solving problems
  • Good technical skills including proficiency with relational databases, SQL, and MS Office
  • Desirable to have good experience in software development, particularly with python, java and Lean-Agile
  • Desirable to have knowledge of global markets products such as FICC, equities, and securities lending
  • Desirable to have knowledge of risk management principles

What you can expect

The role is for an Analyst position within the APAC Risk Technology team with a particular focus on Counterparty Credit Risk. The successful candidate will collaborate with technology and business partners to ensure that our systems correctly capture, measure, and report the counterparty credit risk exposure arising from our Global Banking and Markets business across Asia Pacific. You will provide analysis to explain how our systems work, identify where enhancements to our enterprise systems or tactical solutions are required, and partner with our dev teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

What you will do

  • Work closely with Credit Risk stakeholders to understand their requirements and business priorities
  • Develop technical specifications and partner with global technology teams to implement requirements
  • Collaborate on global initiatives to ensure that APAC stakeholders are educated on the impacts/benefits to their function and informed of progress
  • Specify and support SIT/UAT testing needs
  • Produce data analysis and reports to resolve routine BAU enquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist regional Technology Management and Business Control teams to ensure that all credit risk systems and change are properly inventoried and compliant with APAC laws, rules and regulations
