IT Data Governance - Core Technology Infrastructure

Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsible for data monitoring existing and new business processes, risks, and controls, across the EDM (Enterprise Data Management) Data Lifecycles to improve out of tolerance conditions; partner with governance teams to perform QA assessments, identify and remediate gaps to ensure adherence to Enterprise Data Management Policies and Standards.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience partnering with data governance teams, performing QA assessments and ensuring standards are followed
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Analysis or Data Integration, preferably within a financial institution
  • Strong SQL skills against industry standard DBMS (Cloudera, IBM, Presto, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Strong interpersonal and business skills to achieve cooperation/coordination of multiple tasks being performed
  • Ability to work with Senior Management both on the Technology as well as Business
  • Experience working and articulating analysis results

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse and ETL architecture
  • ITIL V3 2011
  • Cobit 5
