Business Support Manager

Job Description:

Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit.

  • Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication.
  • May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products.
  • Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices.
  • May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience supporting large business units, providing data analysis
  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction
  • Excels at adapting to changing business needs with ability to balance multiple competing priorities in an extremely dynamic environment 
  • Process oriented with keen attention to detail  
  • Proactively builds deep relationship with teammates/key partners 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with ability to analyze data, distill key data points and effectively present information
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Managing critical data attributes and mapping tables for key dataset
  • Project management methodologies 
  • Executive communications 
  • Works well under deadlines
  • Strong Analytical skills 
  • The ability to influence peers/partners
