Responsible for planning and tactical execution of interventions that enable Talent pool resource engagement and development.

They will have direct management accountability for their team.

They will ensure maturity outcomes by enabling team members with trainings, skill development plans, performance reviews and coaching.

Manages day to day operations and administration of the skill groups.

With limited direction, works to introduce to a variety of systems, processes where required to assist with App Dev strategy execution.

Requires the ability to interact with stakeholders both within and external to the App Dev organization to drive improvements in the respective Skill Group.

Defines the career development of individuals through performance reviews, and building individual learning plans that is needed to develop competencies and skills.

Understands work deliverables for the teams. Understands team members performance by following team outcomes as well as getting feedback from stakeholders.

Executes against the App Dev strategy by leading detailed designs, pilot initiatives and developing implementation strategies.

Partners with GDL aligned managers on capacity planning, forecasting and resource alignment.

Supports Skill Group Leader on capacity planning, forecasting and resource alignment processes for the Skill Group.

Ensures timely off boarding and onboarding of STS resources and completion of associated activities.

Responsible for planning and implementation of Engagement & Development interventions for talent pool resources.

Engages with Performance & Productivity leader to optimize Talent Pool and solutions to enhance Talent Pool utilization.

Facilitates Resource proficiency development, strategic learning plan (SLP) and relevant training within the Skill Group.

Works with shared resources to enhance rigor on knowledge management practices.

Accountable to ensure quality and timely completion of Goal settings, Performance reviews, Talent Planning and Career development processes.

Supports Performance & Productivity Lead with relevant Skill Group Metrics for analysis & reporting.

Accountable for compliance to standards and procedures (Risk, Financial & Change Governance).

Takes leadership in enablement opportunities  helps teams with resolving organizational impediments.

Responsibilities:

The Technology Manager will develop both direct and partner staffing strategies and manage project staffing for an assigned vertical/geography, acting as the single point contact regarding resource supply/demand readiness.

  • The role will deliver high-quality staffing solutions that ensure proper alignment of resources to projects, optimize utilization, and support resource development.
  • The Resource Manager will regularly monitor pipeline, provide full capacity planning and utilization analyses, and will propose solutions to address critical skills gaps and risks.
  • The role will work closely with Skill Group Leaders/ Delivery Leaders and maintain strong partnerships with business development, partner enablement, and internal learning.
  • This role will regularly collaborate with other members on the Management team to staff needs across teams and will work with partner organizations to engage third-party resources when needed.
  • This is a role that requires a highly organized self-starter who thrives on solving problems and has solid skills and experience in resource management. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills who must work seamlessly across different functional groups and regions.
  • Develop staffing strategy in partnership with vertical/region leader. This includes utilizing direct and partner resources. Build and manage capacity plans to proactively determine staffing needs.
  • Own and manage project staffing for assigned vertical/region by validating requirements, searching for candidates, and assigning resources.
  • Produce & analyze resourcing data for Vertical/Geography, make recommendations based on the data. This includes forecast utilization, availability, skills gaps, monthly utilization reviews, trends/analysis in skills demand and supply.
  • Proactively build strong relationships with resources, gain subject matter expert understanding of their skills profiles/developmental interests and work with leadership and internal learning in talent planning activities.
  • Build strong understanding of Projects in Pipeline, Delivery methodology, and the roles and skills needed on Projects, matching the right talent with the right project at the right time.
  • Successfully negotiate staffing conflicts through creative staffing solutions and alternatives and escalates sensitive or high-risk staffing situations as appropriate.
  • Facilitate weekly pipeline/staffing meetings with vertical/regional leadership to discuss upcoming pipeline and capacity, and to identify instances of resource underutilization.
  • Use internal systems to collect and analyze relevant data on skills, availability, and utilization.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in the resource management tools and fully defines and utilizes Dashboards and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years prior experience working in Agile Methodologies with strong knowledge of Kanban & Scrum Framework.
  • Experience in leading in an environment with Agile Scrum masters, coaches and RTEs.
  • Sets agenda and defines the artifacts needed for governance forums; Collects feedback from customers and stakeholders to measure the effectiveness of stakeholder management.
  • Determines the most effective methodology for a change in their area and is able to create and manage plans for this change.
  • Able to manage the activities of the team, monitoring and reporting progress to ensure optimum service levels are achieved.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable, complex situations.
  • Facilitates collaboration within and across teams. Go-to person for consultation from others/peers & colleagues.
  • Uses a combination of factual and emotional points to exert influence.
  • Receives agreement to ideas by identifying and working collaboratively with specific stakeholders and senior managers.
  • Makes decisions about processes and procedures that will increase or deliver enhanced business value.

Desired Skills:

  • SAFe SPC 5 certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, client-facing abilities and international exposures is a prerequisite for this position.
