Post Sale Default Servicing - Operations Consultant - MVSO

Job Description:

Responsible for horizontal role across Default Operations for inventory surveillance and analysis in Post Sale Default Servicing.  Will be responsible for defining reporting business requirements, monitoring scorecard performance, identify problems/risks, partner with vendor management and facilitate oversight for LOB. In addition to production surveillance, the Ops Consultant will perform forensic analysis and problem solving, loan level reviews to triage issues, and proactive analysis.

Manages projects and directs activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities.  Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations work. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred. Individual typically has 3-5 years of experience.

Required Experience:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to recognize risk and issue trends and recommend solutions
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with peers and management
  • Adaptable to change and able to work well independently
  • Experience with executive presentations and influential leadership
  • Understanding of data analytics from SOAR
  • Ability to gain a solid understanding of various operations and support functions

Desired Experience:

  • Intermediate or Advanced Excel
  • Prior MVSO experience
  • Proficiency in framing problems and developing impactful solutions with minimal oversight
