- minimum 10 years of Linux system administration

- Experience in working in enterprise Linux environment, particularly in the Financial Industry

- Independent and able to plan and execute deliverables in a demanding environment with little or no supervision

- Able to handle critical situations (such as major incident during project implementation, urgent requirements from business)

- Excellent team player and communicator who can drive initiatives and deliver results

- Fast learner and is willing to collaborate and engage in out-side business hour discussion with global partners and key stakeholders

-  This is a L3 role that requires Red Hat Certified System Administration Certification or equivalent

What you can expect

The APAC server build team is responsible for installing, deploying and configuring enterprise compute solutions for various lines of businesses across APAC. The team plays a central role in collaborating with the project management teams, application owners and other infrastructure teams to provide Enterprise compute services.

A senior midrange platform build engineer role that is responsible to build servers, provide LOB specific customizations, support compute platform support for DC migrations and collaborate with project managers to implement solutions that meet business requirements.

What you will do

- Provide build support for Linux server builds and post build customizations

- Deploy Red Hat cluster setups and conduct intra-site and inter-site failovers in collaboration with other technology and application teams

- Provide solution and support from server build perspective for large projects, such as data center relocation, new business growth

- Collaborate with project managers and other technology teams to implement compute solutions for business requirements provided by the CIO

- Is very familiar with best practices for cyber security and exhibits a strong sense of risk management

- Being the technical escalation point (Linux) of the team and provide guidance to L2 team
