Operations Team Lead

Job Description:

This is a leadership role and oversees a section of the company's internal operations with a team of 12 employees. Responsibilities focus on the day to day process of returns, electronic & manual.  This process is highly time sensitive, must be able to motivate others to ensure work is finished timely and all deadlines are met. Reviews operations procedures and implements changes and ensures the adherence to operations procedures by the team. Provides guidance to staff and directs the flow of work. Deals with unusual situations and can make appropriate decisions. Act as a champion for the customer and instills customer focus in all employees.  Less than 15% of time is spent doing actual production work. May provide input into key people decisions (Performance management, hiring/firing, etc.).  Ensures various SLA's are met daily.  Other key responsibilities will include motivating, coaching, and developing associates to achieve optimal performance results.  Performs as a backup to direct manager, leads project work, and continually utilizes independent judgment. Must be able to openly accept coaching to grow and develop.

This is a 2nd shift role, and in office presence is always required.

 Mon - Fri  12:30pm - 9pm

Mandatory on site presence on Day 1

 

 

Qualifications Must have these skills to be minimally qualified:

  • Must be extremely organized and be able to prioritize tasks and projects.

  • Experience in production/deadline-oriented environment.

  • Must be able to motivate team to maximize their potential.

  • Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail is a must.

  • Must be flexible with schedule, requires staying until all work is complete

  • Must be able to clearly communicate across multiple audiences

  • 2-5 years of operations experience.
