Position Summary

Bank of America is seeking a Delivery Lead with proven expertise working on complex software products and delivering on complex initiatives. This role will support and grow our card linked offers space with our BankAmeriDeals and Partner products.

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program.  Key responsibilities include communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables.  This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.  They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent working experience.
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience with JIRA, ALM, PCM, PPRT, NEXUS, etc.
  • Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
  • Ability to navigate in a matrix management model and influence across multiple organization levels.
  • Strong relationship management and organizational skills along with ability to identify and prioritize work load.
  • Formally manages change controls for scope, schedule, and budget targets to adhere to bank Change Management policies.
  • Support of program management tools and techniques in alignment with the bank Change and Project Management Framework.
  • Ability to interact with business leaders, external vendors and internal technology groups.
  • Extensive experience of process & release management.
  • Knowledge of Agile and waterfall software delivery methodology.
  • Process-oriented; able to navigate bank policies and procedures.

Desired Skills

Past experience as a project manager at Bank of America with a proven track record of success, ability to lead Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid projects, PMP & Agile certified (desired but not hard requirement)
