Job Title: Global Swaps Product Delivery Lead

Corporate Title: up to Director

Location: London

Role Description:

Product Delivery Lead for all Swap related projects globally.  Candidate must have strong knowledge of Equity Swaps products and be able to lead multiple projects concurrently.  The candidate will be the faceoff with Trade Control, Platform and FO teams on all Eq Swap projects.  Candidate must have strong knowledge of trade flow, lifecycle and industry initiatives and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving and delivering on the Operations agenda within the Swaps Development Program
  • Managing and delivering on multiple internal and industry projects
  • Working with various stakeholders to prioritize tasks (Trade Control, Front Office, Technology)
  • Leading discussion amongst the global operations teams to agree on issues, priorities, and requirements. 
  • Responsible for documenting requirements and insuring that they are tested properly before release.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead and drive change
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results.
  • Project/Program management capability
  • 7+ years performing business analysis/definition and Program Management to support large projects and business change
  • Experience in full project lifecycle management, including Agile methodology
  • Have proven requirement and process definition and documentation skills, with ability to handle diverse workload and tight schedules
  • Ability to drive to closure, reputation for execution
  • Strong Risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Strong Understanding of financial processes
  • Ability to articulate full product life cycle and understanding Trade lifecycle
  • Experience in Trade Control/Operations re-engineering initiatives
  • Understanding of business unit control functions and corporate reporting
  • Must have ability to apply strategic thinking to multiple, complex organizational and business issues, ability to translate into practical plans for project execution
  • Broad business experience in defining business and systems requirements for Corporate-wide applications.

Other Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in systems development (Desired)
  • Equities, Derivatives or related experience a strong plus
  • Ability to architect business and software solutions and define related requirements
  • Experience in writing/reading SQL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team of Analysts and Technologists
  • Ability to work across business groups and in a team environment
  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
  • Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner

The Team:

The Equity Operations product development team works closely with the Equities franchise on business initiatives which have a dependency on trade booking, lifecycle management, or reconciliations.  The team is based across Hong Kong, UK, India, and AMRS and is co-located with the Global Trade Control Team.  The team covers a wide spectrum of functions but typically operates as the conduit between Trading and Middle Office and leads initiatives which extend across the two teams/divisions.
