Sr. Finance Analyst - Business Support

Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Staff Support BFO role’s primary focus is to be a finance partner to teams within the Risk, Legal, Audit, GHR, CAO, ESG/Public Policy and CFO organizations.  The role is supporting certain of the executives and their direct reports’ respective organizations, with expectations of being an active advisor.  Role will also be actively involved in the execution of processes, evaluation and implementation of process improvements, and oversight of policies and procedures.  Key priorities include: forecast/plan cycles, month end close, expense analytics, allocations and financial support.

Specific activities and expectations include:

  •        Strategic partnering with business to ensure financial budgets are well understood and forecasted.
  •        Support key deliverables – CEO Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's) and CFO expense reviews, monthly and quarterly reporting packages to management team members (MTM)
  •        Build strong collaborative relationships with the executive and their leadership teams, multiple partners – who have significant input into routines and ad-hoc deliverables
  •        Work in close partnership with the GEM (Global Expense Management) team to prepare forecast information, internal reporting packages and forecast reporting materials.
  •        Influence and drive thought from an overall expense management perspective, leveraging SIM, Org Health and Op Ex initiatives

Required Skills:

  •        BA/BS Degree preferably in Finance/Accounting
  •        5-8 years of experience in Finance/Accounting role
  •        Strong communication and relationship management experiences, proven experience with executive communications and influence
  •        Forecast/Planning experience
  •        Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively with key stakeholders
  •        Demonstrated financial acumen, problem solving ability to arrive at well-founded conclusions
  •        Self-starter able to work in a very fast paced environment and deal with multiple deadlines
  •        Interpreting and presenting financial data with logic and insight, and to partners at various levels in the organization
  •        Understanding and communicating results from the Corporate Allocations process
  •        Recommending solutions to facilitate organizational changes or business strategies
  •        Completing deliverables timely, accurately, and in line with or exceeding business expectations
