Continuous Process Improvement Consultant is responsible for the continuous improvement and sustainment for operational sites. Duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating and prioritizing site improvement activities (in

quality, speed, cost and risk); developing, validating and monitoring of metrics; planning, organizing, developing methods of defect reduction or waste elimination; and leading / coaching daily root cause analysis and corrective

action responses to process issues. CPICs integrate best practices with operations and process design teams to ensure minimal customer impact and drive customer satisfaction, then builds action plans and drives execution.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for process Improvement

and related activities.

• Leverage Six Sigma / Lean Methodology to identify

process solutions, conduct root cause analysis, and

design/pilot/deploy/monitor results for approved solutions.

• Assist in the implementation, use and coaching of

process monitoring techniques and tools including

control charts, run charts, data collection methodologies, and data analytics.

• Identify Critical to Quality metrics to ensure appropriate

controls are identified, prioritized, and monitored.

• Plan, organize, lead Level 1 (non-funded) process

improvement projects to improve operational business processes.

• Facilitate process improvement collaboration with

operations and process design / change management teams.

- Data analytics

- MS Office proficiency (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio)

- Strong leadership skills including ability to effectively

sequence work and enlist team support on deliverables

- Proven ability to both think strategically end-to-end and

execute tactically

- Motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal

direction

- Interact with and influence both executive and front-line

associates; ability to create buy-in

- Adept at making sound business decisions

- Ability to manage in a matrix environment

Desired Skills:

- Six Sigma and/or Lean Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)

- Strong understanding of Business Process Management

methodology & concepts

- Working knowledge of statistical software, such as JMP
