Talent Consultant II - Enterprise Organizational Health & OD

Job Description:

This Talent Consultant II role sits within the Enterprise Organizational Health and Organizational Design (OD) function: A coordinated team of experts which sets enterprise standards and supports clients and partners in optimizing organization designs and organizational health metrics. This role reports to the Employee Experience and Organizational Effectiveness Executive.

This role is responsible for managing a variety of OD activities using our core supporting application OrgVue. This includes:

  • Collaborates with the Enterprise Cost Management (ECoM) team and LOB finance, HR and talent partners to drive enterprise cost management and organizational design strategy
  • Drives enterprise organizational health priorities
  • Maintains various OD day-to-day operations and support activities
  • Ensures the ongoing seamless integration of OrgVue with other Bank of America HR technology platforms such as Workday and integration of talent metrics into the organization design
  • Manages updates to an Organizational Design at Bank of America playbook and training
  • Facilitates OrgVue user support activities
  • Acts as a liaison between OrgVue vendor and Bank of America technology support staff
  • Serves as the project management office for all organizational health activities
  • Provides subject matter expertise for organizational design interests and initiatives
  • Supports ad hoc C-level and senior-level requests and consults on design and forecasting

Enterprise Job Profile

Leads the development of enterprise wide or line of business talent and OD/OE solutions. Supports senior business leaders and complex leadership solutions. Works with the business and Global Talent client team to develop and implement change solutions. Applies expertise to identify opportunities, strategies and solutions that directly link to organizational and business goals. Establishes and maintains partnerships with Global Talent and Learning Academy colleagues, Global HR staff, subject matter experts (SMEs) and vendors to identify and drive performance improvement. Responsible for providing high level consultative support to lead the design, development and implementation of Global Talent services supporting multiple priorities and initiatives with significant impact on customer and financial results. Responsible for ensuring integration with local, regional and national business partners to drive successful execution of solutions. Requires deep subject matter expertise in talent solution development. Provides coaching to less experienced consultants and analysts on the team. Individual contributor role.

Required Skills

  • 5 years of experience managing complex organizational redesigns, including working through complex matrix structures
  •  Proactive identification of issues based on tracking internal and external trends
  • Experience executing pragmatic solutions, with an emphasis on risk mitigation
  • Strong understanding of transaction data flows
  • Strong data management and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with managers, peers and business partners
  • Innovative thinking; solutions oriented
  • Master’s degree in Organization Development/Behavior preferred
