Strategy and Business Integration, Global Corporate and Investment Banking COO

Job Description:

The Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) COO team supports Business Integration Strategy for GCIB and our interaction with other Lines of Business (LOBs). In this capacity, the candidate will engage with partners across our GCIB teams, with other Bank of America LOBs and with enterprise teams.  Responsibilities include monitoring business referrals between LOBs, rollout and monitoring of new cross-sell initiatives and cross LOB engagement.  Role expected to also support broader set of GCIB COO strategic initiatives.  The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and detail orientation, the ability to partner across stakeholder groups, and demonstrated experience with business initiative programs.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and tracking of key business initiatives

  • Coordination across lines of business

  • Work with functional teams on initiatives related to Business Integration and general GCIB strategy

  • Produce business analysis for GCIB COO and Management

Competencies and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  •  [3-5] years of exposure to financial markets/products, preferably with exposure to Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, or Treasury Services

  • Program/project management experience with demonstrated ability to build project roadmaps, manage several key stakeholders and take ownership for delivery

  • Takes initiative and demonstrates a focused desire to understand responsibilities and drive/implement improvements

  • Strategic thinker and execution minded

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the poise to communicate with senior leaders

  • Ability to positively influence others, regardless of seniority, in order to achieve results

  • Able to adapt to changing business/regulatory environments

  • Excellent time management skills and able to manage multiple competing/concurrent activities

  • Must be able to deliver results with limited direction and supervision

Must be able to work well in collaborative team environment, but also independently
