Role Description:

This individual will be a member of our IMS Systems support team. They will provide Systems Programmer support, software support, performance and tuning and production support including on call rotation participation.

The Team:

The IMS Systems team is dynamic team with people in the US, UK, Singapore and India. Supporting systems in the US and the UK.

The team has a wide breath of knowledge and we are working to spread that knowledge across the team and deepen our expertise, by taking advantage of as much education for our vendors as possible.

Core Skills:

Required

  • Experienced IMS z/OS systems programmer with experience  
  • Knowledge and background in IMS installation and maintenance procedures with an emphasis on SMP/E knowledge.
  • Experience in IMS SMP/E usermod support.
  • Experience in the support of IBM and BMC IMS program products.
  • Familiar and experienced with IMS problem determination and performance techniques.
