Strategic Marketing Executive

The Consumer and Small Business Segment Marketing team is responsible for marketing strategies that deepen and retain 66M clients. We partner across the enterprise to develop value propositions and deliver experiences for our clients. We oversee the marketing strategy, execution and measurement to drive effectiveness and efficiency. 

As the Consumer and Small Business Multi-Cultural Marketing Segment Lead you will ….

  • In partnership with the line of business, develop segment strategies focusing initially on Hispanic and Black/African American segment
  • Bring together powerful yet diffuse tactics into an ecosystem and coordinated approach 
  • Define the balance of unique value propositions and cultural context for audience specific go to market strategies 
  • Use marketing and client experiences to drive consideration, engagement and deepening with our client segments 
  • Work with peers across Consumer and Small Business, Wealth Management, Global Banking and Markets and Enterprise teams to develop coordinated, effective and efficient programs 
  • Member of internal and external steering committees and councils to listen and drive change
  • Manage within budget and act as quarter back of resources

Role Qualifications:

  • BA required, MBA preferred 
  • 10+ years experience in sales, marketing or product development 
  • Experience creating segmented value propositions using behavioral, cultural and economic insights

Leadership Competencies:

  • Ability to build, lead and develop talent
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
  • Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of gaining buy-in, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively at a senior level
  • Flexible and adaptable – able to navigate in ambiguous circumstances
  • Deliver quality at speed 
  • Strong analytical orientation and critical thinking ability
