Intermediate Financial Analyst - MVSO

Job Description:

Responsible for moderately complex financial activities involving the implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a line of business or staff area. Works on activities and projects with others with the business unit. May lead small projects and coordinate resources. In some cases, will act as team leader.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of mortgage experience

• Strong Analytical Skills

• Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, VLookUp, formatting, etc)

• Time management skills and ability to work well under tight deadlines

• Strong organizational, oral & written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with internal & external business partners

• Ability to work in team environment and independently to troubleshoot issues

• High level of attention to detail

• Willingness to improve and/or streamline processes

• Candidate should exhibit strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Background in primary servicing including investor reporting and/or default management, FHA/conventional claims

• Knowledge of daily payoff & liquidation reporting

• Working knowledge of MSP

• Proficient with Word and PowerPoint

• Toad/SQL experience
