Job Title: Product Owner – TECH Delivery

Role Description:

The role is to work as a Product Owner within the FFC (Finance and Financial Controls) domain. The role includes both application management and delivery ownership for the implementation of associated projects and initiatives.

Requires working closely with business users, development teams, and support teams to assist in the delivery of change and the ongoing management of the application.

This role is based in the UK (Bromley) but will be working with a global domain team split across locations (Bromley, London, New Jersey, India)

As an Application Inventory Tool (AIT) owner/manager you will be responsible for coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the status of delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring projects being delivered are effectively executed
  • Reporting and maintaining a clear and accurate view of the overall status of the portfolio and a view of upcoming pipeline of work expected in the near and medium term
  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change standards
  • Manage and face off to any related Audit related requests related to project delivery and application management
  • Create and prioritize work for a team, learning to collaborate with business partners
  • Alongside Change partners, participate in the development and support of project documentation
  • Completing administrative and non-technical tasks related to deliverables and requests for the application supported

Core Skills:

  • Domain experience of Regulatory reporting including CASS, CFTC
  • Understanding of the Enterprise Changes Management standards (MRA-2)
  • Familiarity with key change management tool sets (Jira, PPRT, Permit tool)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – being vocal and actively participating in all session with business stakeholders and agile teams is KEY.
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully interacting, influencing, and communicating to all levels and audiences
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical project management / leadership - experience with Agile / SCRUM project methodologies
  • Previous application management/ownership background
  • Previous Information Security, Audit, Risk, and/or Compliance experience
  • Experience working in technology projects in development/ QA capacity
  • Experience working with Internal/ External Auditors
  • Demonstrated ability to use multiple governed systems report and record deliverables
  • Experience working with Servers, Vulnerabilities and Software patches
  • Understanding or working experience with SDLC/Agile teams and utilizing JIRA & Confluence
  • Experience with hands on data analysis
  • Solid knowledge of financial industry and related products
