Channel Development Manager I

Job Description:

The Channel Development Manager will lead end to end creative development for Financial Center campaigns from strategy/brief to fulfillment for printed and digital customer facing marketing materials. Manage agency routines, day to day reviews, business partners/legal/compliance/brand, and reviewers to ensure error free creative for the financial centers. Must be confident in building relationships internally and externally across various vendors and companies and work as one team to deliver solutions and recommendations .Partner with merchandising team to understand and influence the fixture system and plans for renovations and relocations. Have deep knowledge of segments, including but not limited to Student, Preferred and Community/LMI. Own dedicated budgets including forecasting, projections and processing. Be operational lead for campaign management, including program intake, critical path scheduling, vendor contracts as well as ongoing routines.

  • Must be able to think big pictures for the work, but also own the smaller details.
  • Develop, manage, and publish planning tools to inform work flow and resource allocation
  • Enjoy managing fast paced, complex, detailed programs end to end in an error free manner and on budget
  • Be comfortable working in a process driven Center of Excellence
  • Communications must be clear, crisp, and distill complex situations to simple solutions; communicate solidly with employees at all levels including senior management and influence audiences to drive decision making including the ability to deliver succinct one page summaries for leadership
  • Must be comfortable working in a team, partnering and supporting teammates as campaign work is done in pod of teammates and lines are deliberately blurred.  Must be able to be cross functional in order to 'pinch hit' for a teammate if needed without issue.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders to gain consensus and integrate cross functional teams 
  • Build authentic relationships that aid in finding cross functional business opportunities
  • Complex strategic thinker, decisive decision maker, willing to take calculated risks
  • Experience working through conflicting priorities and ability to quickly changing and adapt as circumstances evolve
  • Comfortable working in the “gray”-without clear deadlines, be solution oriented, and flexible
  • Must be adept in executive level PowerPoint presentation generation, Excel (complex spreadsheets), and navigating platforms that support marketing and merchandising data.
  • Have a minimum of 5-10 years Marketing experience
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Agency experience preferred
