.Net Developer - Software Engineer II

Position Summary

.NET Developer to join the Consumer Credit Assistance Tech Team.

Software Engineer II - .Net -- this position will work in an agile team side by side with business partners to Develop/Design/Maintain .Net applications in the Collections space. Responsible for understanding the business requirements, build/enhance application components to support the requirements, and enabling testing to certify the application. Support technology infrastructure team in production deployment and transitioning to support team. The Developer is expected to learn the business and technical components of an application and work with their peers to follow enterprise software development methodologies. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.

Required Skills

  • Self-motivated and quick-learning team player who can take the full ownership of designs from concept to support
  • Understand stakeholder’s expectations and objectives
  • Work independently; Require less oversight/assistance
  • Ensure processes are followed at all stages of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Participate/host calls independently with off and on-shore business and technology team
  • Should be able to understand the problem and recommend solutions during JAD/discussions/meetings
  • Review requirements specifications and other documents received from LOB
  • Prepare and/or review Impact Analysis, HLD and LLD
  • Develop & unit test Complex Programs/Component
  • Follow/implement Agile methodology
  • Suggest process improvements to achieve or exceed desired quality
  • Participate in requirement gathering meetings and proactively clarify doubts/questions
  • Suggest technical solutions
  • Create design document, Build the code, Involve in unit testing, Component Integration testing, System Integration testing  and implementation
  • Own the task assigned and keep all the stakeholders informed of status
  • Support the code install releases and post deployment control phases
  • Experience working within scrum teams to support projects
  • Experience in writing complex SQL in relational databases especially SQL Server
  • Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools to manage complex data movement strategies such as AutoSys
  • Experience producing/modifying/supporting reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Financial Services experience

Experience in MVM, MVVM, & other Design Patterns, Web Services,C#, .net, WCF,Service oriented programming experience, Database ,SQL Server, SDLC, Agile Development Methodology

Desired skills

  • SOAP UI, WPF
  • Angular 9 (Type Script)
  • Java, ETL, Mule
  • Knowledge of tools such as Quality Center/ALM, JIRA
  • 5 -8 Years
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
