Data Support Sr Analyst - Wholesale Flood Operations

LOB Specific Description:

Responsible for reporting, data analysis and root cause analysis for the Wholesale Flood Operations Servicing Team. Should have in-depth understanding of the business unit’s operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations functions and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Work independently or in conjunction with other developers as the work requires. Participate fully in team planning and work with colleagues to continuously improve the team’s performance.

Enterprise Role Overview:

May manage or supervise a small group. Proactively monitor and remediate incoming data used in risk measurement and reporting. Ensure the completeness, validity, and accuracy of data on a daily basis. Work with business data users to define the use of data within risk systems. Work closely with technology to ensure the timely and accurate operation of risk models and reporting systems. Implement effective risk controls of our data processes and systems. Participate in user acceptance testing of data control processes. Work with other groups as needed, including Middle Office, Sales and Trading, Technology, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Enterprise Capital Management to ensure effective controls over data for GMRM.

Required Skills: (Must have these skills to be minimally qualified)

  • 4+ years strong developer experience
  • Skilled in SQL and Oracle Development
  •  Microsoft SQL Server knowledge of tables, views, stored procedures
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills-including Excel and Visio
  • Microsoft Visual Studio / SSIS experience

Desired Skills:

  • Preferred GCW SQL Server LOANIQ, Credit Center E2E and ACBS schema tables experience
  • Basic Understanding of LOANIQ, CreditCenter, ACBS, Everest and Navigator
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
  • Tableau experience preferred
  • Experienced in collecting, organizing, and evaluating business data
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Ability to report research results in a comprehensive, concise manner and to develop and present precise and clear metrics
  • Skilled in coordinating and multi-tasking for various projects
  • Must have the ability to think independently, analyze situations and offer solutions
  • Must exhibit strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be task and time focused
  • Must work with purpose and speed
  • Must be adaptable
