Architect - Cloud - Core Technology Infrastructure

Job Description:

The Architect has expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Hosting, Storage, Network and Cloud Security and will be defining an architectural vision and solution architecture which aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Cloud Infrastructure, Hosting, Storage, Network and Cloud Security Engineers to design and develop code to enable integration with other systems or tools to establish integration and automation monitoring workflows
  • Working with the Cloud Network and Cloud Security Engineers to establish automated virtualized networking, hosting and security service provisioning
  • Establishing event and incident remediation wherever possible appropriate

Required Job Skills:

  • 7-10 years in Information Technology
  • SME/Expertise with Cloud Infrastructure Automation
  • 5+ years  as a Technical Lead
  • 5+ years in VMWare, Virtualization
  • Experience with:    PowerShell, Python, Ansible), Configuration Management Tools (Chef, Puppet),
  • Orchestration tools (VMware vRealize® Orchestrator), NSX API, VMware vRealize Automation API, VMware vRealize Operations API
  • People leadership
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to different audiences 
  • Ability to navigate in complex business environment
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic requirements
  • Ability to manage complex programs and priorities
  • Ability to learn and grow

Desired Job Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or similar   
  • Technical leadership
  • Certification: VCP-NV, AGILE Methodology
